May is Mental Health Awareness Month. During this time, we have more conversations around stress, trauma, healing, and emotional well-being to bring more awareness to mental health. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, about half of people with mental health concerns are undiagnosed, leaving millions without the care they need. Although, for many individuals, the biggest problem isn’t not knowing that they need support– it’s not being able to access that support.
We are proud to introduce a resource here in Hillsborough County that provides accessible mental health counseling services for people struggling to get care because of financial or insurance reasons.
Our Counseling and Resiliency Center was built with one goal: to remove barriers and make quality mental health care easier to access.
We offer:
- Low-cost counseling services with sliding scale fees
- Licensed and registered therapists
- Individual and family counseling
- Trauma-informed and person-centered care
- Flexible scheduling options
Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or trauma, our team is here to provide safe, supportive, and confidential care.
One of the most powerful things we can do during Mental Health Awareness Month is normalize conversations about mental health.
Seeking help is:
- Not a sign of weakness
- Nothing to be ashamed of
- A step toward healing and strength
At our center, we believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion, no matter where they are on their journey. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is here.
Our Counseling and Resiliency Center is committed to making mental health care affordable, accessible, and inclusive, because everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.
